International Journal of Africana Studies (IJAS)

NCBS seeks to promote the scholarly debate in the field of Africana Studies through the publication of the International Journal of Africana Studies.  The Journal is published annually, and submissions are accepted throughout the year. It is a a professional refereed journal dedicated to scholarship and research about people of African descent.   Learn more about the International Journal of Africana Studies.

Black Women, Gender & Families (BWGF)

BWGF is also an official journal of the National Council for Black Studies (NCBS) in collaboration with the African American Studies and Research Program at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
