As of February 3rd, all volunteer positions are filled for the 2012 conference.
Dress Business Casual (no jeans and t-shirts)
· Volunteer Services:
o Help with registration process
o Stuff bags
o Count participants and attendees
o Distribute surveys
o Aid in AV setup
o Data entry
o Create name badges
o Pass out programs for banquet and luncheon
o Set-up room
o Room ushers
Wednesday
· Stuff bags and pre-registration set-up (ten volunteers are needed)
· Training session for registration (for all who can attend)
Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
· Requirements for volunteers on conference days
· All volunteers who are working in the morning must be present at least thirty minutes before registration begins (8:00 am).
· Number of volunteers needed per task*
· On Friday and Saturday, four volunteers (two for each event) are needed to pass out programs for the luncheon (Friday) and the banquet (Saturday).
· Two volunteers are needed for the pre-registration A-F table.
· Two volunteers are needed for registration G-L table.
· Two volunteers are needed for registration M-R table.
· Two volunteers are needed for registration S-Z table.
· Two volunteers are needed for registration (unpaid) table.
· Two volunteers are needed for data entry.
· One volunteer is needed for the table with extra banquet and luncheon ticket sales.
· One volunteer is needed for the membership table.
· Two volunteers are needed as room ushers per session. (There are seven to nine rooms, which means about 14-18 volunteers.)
· This task includes tent card placement and room set-up. They must also sit in the room during sessions to make sure that the presenters have everything they need.
· A few volunteers are needed to be runners at various times during the conference. They must be able to carry at least 30 lbs.
· Two volunteers are needed for name badge table.
*Volunteers should sign up in two hour increments so as not to cause conflicts as the sessions are in progress.
